Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse Management, integrations, reporting, extensions, and related operational processes. The candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, system configuration, technical coordination, customization support, integration support, testing, user training, deployment, and end-to-end implementation/support of Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong functional understanding of business processes and sufficient technical knowledge to work closely with developers, integration partners, reporting teams, and infrastructure/application support teams. The role requires hands-on involvement across Business Central configuration, extensions, APIs, data migration, Power Platform, Power BI, POS, banking, Microsoft 365, and third-party application integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Graduate in Science, Finance, Commerce or related field
• Experience in food and beverage, retail, or manufacturing is a required
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems, Power Platform, Power BI, Microsoft 365 integration, banking integrations, APIs, and third-party applications is an advantage
Nice to Have
• Experience with global rollouts or multi-location Business Central deployments
• Knowledge of localization, GST/taxation, e-invoicing, banking, and statutory reporting processes
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and change management practices
• Understanding of external integrations such as POS, bank, e-commerce, warehouse, delivery, and other third-party APIs
• Basic understanding of SQL, data structures, integration mapping, Power Query, or report data models is preferred

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across finance, procurement, sales, inventory, warehouse, and operations teams
• Translate business requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 Business Central functional and technical solution designs
• Configure and implement Dynamics 365 Business Central modules across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Fixed Assets, and related operational areas
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend standard Business Central best practices before proposing customizations
• Prepare and review functional design documents, solution design documents, technical requirement notes, process flows, and configuration documents
• Coordinate with developers for AL extensions, custom pages, reports, workflows, integrations, APIs, events, and data migration requirements
• Review technical feasibility of customizations, validate development output, and ensure alignment with business requirements
• Support integrations with POS, banking, e-commerce, warehouse systems, Power Platform, Power BI, Microsoft 365, and third-party applications
• Perform configuration testing, system integration testing, UAT support, defect and issue resolution
• Support master data migration, opening balances, cutover planning, deployment, and go-live readiness activities
• Conduct workshops, demos, and end-user training sessions for business users and support teams
• Provide post-go-live support, root cause analysis, change impact assessment, and continuous improvement recommendations
• Work closely with vendor project managers, implementation partners, technical teams, and cross-functional business teams
• Manage stakeholder communication between business users, internal IT teams, and technology partners
• Ensure timely delivery, quality validation, and documentation of vendor/partner deliverables

• Good understanding of Business Central architecture, environments, extensions, AL development concepts, APIs, events, web services, and integration patterns
• Ability to configure Business Central administration, users, permissions, security roles, workflows, approval processes, and role centers
• Experience working with developers for customizations, extensions, reports, integrations, data migration, and system enhancements
• Knowledge of Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft 365 integration, and reporting tools
• Understanding of sandbox testing, release wave updates, application lifecycle management, deployment planning, and change management
• Ability to write clear functional specifications, technical requirement documents, test cases, SOPs, and training documents
• Excellent stakeholder communication, vendor coordination, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
